Now, a little about me and how I got started with this cookie journey. In the year of 2017, my son was graduating and we wanted to have a huge celebration for him. Of course, I wanted little cookies in the shape of the grad hat for our guests. I reached out to several local cookiers in my area at that time and they were completely booked. Being the determined mama that I am, I made some on my own. At that time, I was so proud of my work and how well they came out considering that I had never made such a thing before. I look at the pictures of them now and laugh at myself. What was I thinking? Haha! Later that year, I attempted once more to make cookies for my nieces birthday...fail!! Working with merengue powder was a nightmare for me and I gave up. In 2018, a local cookier was offering classes for cookie decorating. I quickly signed up and had my daughter join me. We enjoyed it and loved the icing the instructor had for us to work with. She gave us many tips and instructions, that we walked away feeling super confident that we could do it on our own at home. My daughter and I made lots of Christmas cookies to share with family and made birthday cookies for our loved ones. We learned so much from that cookie class and give credit to the instructor for her patience and sharing with us. While there is still so much to learn, I fully enjoy creating customized cookies to help you all celebrate your special event. Thank you all for allowing me to fulfill your cookie needs.
